HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Blue Dragons women’s basketball team trampled the Bethany Swedes in Thursday night’s game 107-32.
Hutchinson scored 35 points in the first quarter against Bethany’s JV. The Swedes did not score until the Dragons had 20 points already on the board with 4:48 to go.
In the second quarter, the Dragons put up 20 points versus the Swedes, who only added six points to their score. Hutchinson was up 55-16 at the break.
By the end of the third quarter, the Dragons were up 82-23.
Two minutes into the final quarter, Bethany gained some momentum, but the Dragons kept their lead by scoring 25 points.

Hutchinson Community College will travel to Great Bend to play Murray State College Friday, Nov. 9.
