HARVEY COUNTY— Three people were injured in an accident just after 7:30p.m. Friday in Harvey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Chevy Colorado driven by Regina R. Martinez, 39, Newton, was westbound on US 50 seven miles east of Newton and struck a deer in the roadway.

The pickup then traveled left of center and struck a 2014 Dodge pickup driven by William B. Fox, 46, Oskaloosa.

Martinez and passengers Mercedes Logsdon, 15; Bradley Logsdon, 17, both of Newton, were transported to Newton Medical Center.

Fox was not injured. All four were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
