Christian Soup Ministry, Friendship Meals ready for Wednesday Thanksgiving dinners

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — As is usual the day before Thanksgiving, the Christian Soup Ministry will host its annual dinner at the center.

Director Stanley Murdock says they expect about 500 people to attend the annual dinner.

The menu includes turkey stuffing and all of the trimmings. The center is also being assisted by about 40 volunteers who help put the dinner together.

Friendship Meals will deliver its Thanksgiving dinners on Wednesday. According to Jay Pitzer, between 500-600 meals will be delivered. Both the Christian Soup Ministry and Friendship Meals were given a donation of $1,200 from KWBW’s Project Concern this Thanksgiving.
