HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson City Council gave approval to a new collective bargaining agreement with the local FOP representing the city’s police force.
The new contract, which will run through 2019 reflects, changes to the wage scale and performance pay requirements. It also provides payments to officers who perform specialty roles as assigned by the Chief.
Also Tuesday, the Council approved the lease with four results for part of the parking lot, located at Sherman and Walnut.
The Council also decided that due to the New Year holiday, the meeting which would have been held on Jan. 1, will be canceled and not rescheduled. The next regular meeting of the Hutchinson City Council will be Jan. 15.
