Two McPherson residents injured in Sedgwick County accident

WICHITA – Two McPherson residents were injured in a one vehicle accident Saturday night in Sedgwick County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 84-year-old Melvin Tarum was westbound on K-254 when he struck a cow with his vehicle. Tarum was not injured, but two of his passengers were. That included 80-year-old Eunice Tarum, and 54-year-old Daniel Tarum. They were both transported to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita.

The accident occurring around 10:20 p-m, just east of 143rd Street East, northeast of Wichita.
