Hutchinson, Kan. — Reno County has its new Magistrate Judge.

Reno County prosecutor Daniel Gilligan from the District Attorney’s office has been named to replace Cheryl Allen who stepped down last month. Gilligan who was a Senior District Attorney with the DA’s office was appointed by Gov. Jeff Colyer to fill the 27th District seat.

Gilligan received his undergraduate degree from Wichita State University and a law degree from Washburn University.
