HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Central Christian Cougars defeated the Burrton Chargers 64-57 on Tuesday night.

 

Both teams were neck-and-neck through the first half, with just a one-point difference at halftime. The Cougars trailed at intermission 30-29.

Burrton made a successful three-pointer and grabbed a four-point lead of 35-31 in the middle of the third quarter.

The Chargers took a 43-39 lead into the 4th quarter.

Central Christian gained footing in the fourth quarter to win 64-57. The Cougars scored 25 points to the Chargers’ 14.

Central Christian goes to Norwich Friday for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
