HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 19-year-old man arrested in a serious domestic case last Friday made a first court appearance Tuesday morning.

Bradlee R. Jones failed to get his bond lowered. Jones is accused of holding the victim against her will and choking her during an altercation.

His bond is set at $50,000 for charges of aggravated battery – domestic violence and criminal restraint.

During the court hearing, his request for bond reduction was denied by Magistrate Judge Daniel Gilligan.
