An area woman was injured in a horse riding accident Thursday morning.

Reno County E-M-S was dispatched to the 2100 block of East 43rd.

Reporting parties say that the women fell from the animal after it reared up and then fell on top of her. Reno County E-M-S crews arrived on the scene around 10:15 a-m.

The woman’s name has not been released.
