LINDSBORG – Accident in McPherson County sent a motorcycle rider to a Salina Hospital Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Scott Earl Hilliard of Great Bend was was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on I-135 in the right lane, when it struck tire tread from a semi. The vehicle was laid down and caused injuries to the rider who was not wearing a helmet.

Hilliard was transported to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment of his injuries.

The accident occurring around 1:10 p-m, near the Roxbury exit, just east of Lindsborg.
