Marshall to be part of first Chamber legislative forum

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce will host the first of three legislative forums for the 2019 legislative session on Saturday at Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson.

The session will include a visit from 1st District Congressman Roger Marshall starting at 9 a.m. Following his remarks, at 9:30, the Reno County legislators will begin their dialogue about topics of interest here in Kansas. Senator Ed Berger and Representatives Joe Seiwert, Paul Waggoner, Jason Probst, and Jack Thimesch have been invited to participate.

The forum is sponsored by AT&T and organized by the Chamber of Commerce Public Policy Committee. There is no cost to attend the legislative forums. Members of the Chamber and the general public are encouraged to attend.
