Arminda Pruner, 94, of Hutchinson, died February 14, 2019, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 25, 1924, in Nickerson, the daughter of Lorenzo and Agnes (Carpenter) Foster.
Arminda was a homemaker who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.
On July 18, 1944, Arminda married Edward G. ‘Ed’ Pruner in Hutchinson. He died August 27, 2005. Survivors include: daughters, Marceille Mitchell (Jerry), Hutchinson, Linda Hammar, Moundridge, Robin Krieg (Bob), Hutchinson; son, Robbie Pruner, Bushton; grandchildren, Michael Mitchell (Denise), Michelle Mitchell, Jacob, Joshua, and Zachary Hammar, Dustin Whitford (Jody), Cameron Whitford, Timothy Blackburn (Lacey), Casey Blackburn; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, June Schleuling, Sterling, Carol Smith, Hutchinson; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Pauline Foster and Pearl Starks.
Cremation has taken place. Inurnment of both Arminda’s and Ed’s cremains will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at Eastside Cemetery, 500 S. Cleveland, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, with family present from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary.
