TOPEKA, Kan. — The matchups for the first round of sub-state basketball for classes 2A through 6A have been released.

GIRLS

On the girls side in class 2A, Trinity Catholic will travel to Sedgwick on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tip.

In class 3A, Haven will host Chaparral on Monday at 7 p.m.

In class 4A, Buhler will be at Ulysses on Thursday at 6 p.m., while Nickerson gets a first-round bye. The Panthers will play the winner of Augusta and Rose Hill.

In 6A, Hutchinson will be at Topeka Washburn Rural next Thursday at 6 p.m.

 

BOYS

For the boys, in class 2A, No. 1-seed Trinity Catholic will be at home against Wichita Independent Monday at 7 p.m.

In class 3A, Haven will be at home for a Tuesday night matchup against Hesston starting at 7.

In 4A, Buhler will be at Abilene and Nickerson will host Wamego Wednesday night.

In class 6A, Hutchinson will travel to Wichita West on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
