SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Blanchard and Poplar in South Hutchinson Friday morning for an injury accident. They found two vehicles with heavy damage.
One of the vehicles was driven by 25-year-old Josephine Marlow. The other was a pickup driven by 56-year-old Jeff Morris.
Marlow was westbound on Blanchard, failed to yield at the stop sign, proceeded into the intersection and struck Morris with her vehicle.
She was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Morris was released from the scene and taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment by his wife.
The accident occurred around 9 a.m. Friday.
