SALINA – Shots were fired early Thursday morning in a Salina neighborhood.

Officers were called to the area of Phillips St. and Morrison St. early Thursday to a report of possible gunshots. Salina Police Department Lt. Scott Siemsen said three large-caliber handgun shell casings were recovered from the porch of the residence. No injuries were reported.

Officers have had the area blocked off and were collecting evidence.
