Teen hospitalized after 2-vehicle Reno Co. crash

RENO COUNTY One person was injured in an accident just before 6p.m. Tuesday in Reno County.

A pickup driven by David Knepp, 36, Haven, failed to yield to at the intersection of Red Rock and Halstead, according to the Reno County Sheriff’s Department.

The pickup and a passenger vehicle driven by Daisy Beck, 19, Haven collided and the pickup also struck a utility pole. Daisy was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Knepp was not injured. He was issued a citation for failing to yield at the stop sign.

Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the sheriff’s department.
