ST. JOHN – A 19-year-old St. John man was taken to a Wichita hospital after a two vehicle accident in Stafford County Friday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Nathan Taylor, Kenworthy was southbound on U-S 281, and had stopped at the junction with U-S 50. He then apparently pulled in front of a Linkbelt crane driven by 52-year-old David E. Conway of Wichita.

Kenworthy was flown to a Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita by Midwest Lifeteam Helicopter for treatment of his injuries. He was wearing a seat-belt according to the report. Conway was not injured.

The accident occurring about 7:25 a-m, three miles south of St. John.
