HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Two people charged in a robbery case from Feb. 18 have been bound over for trial after a preliminary hearing Monday morning.

Emerson Noble and Elaina Matos are charged with aggravated robbery. Noble is also charged with interference with law enforcement after he gave a fake name to Hutchinson police.

Noble and Matos are accused of robbing the Kwik Shop at 17th and Lorraine. Noble allegedly entered the store and requested to purchase an item from behind the counter. Once the clerk opened up the register, he reportedly punched her one time in the face and grabbed some money from the register.

Police believe he conspired with Matos, who drove him to Kwik Shop. Matos went in first to make sure the clerk was alone before Noble entered the store.

With them bound over, arraignment will come next month.
