Alzo Lewis Vaughn, 72, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital, Wichita, KS.
Alzo was born July 7, 1946 in Lebanon, KS, the son of Roy W and Betty (Lee) Vaughn. Alzo enlisted in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany for 5 years. He was honorably discharged in 1979 after serving for 15 years. Alzo enjoyed watching old western movies and spending his free time fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Vaughn; brothers, Bill Vaughn and Jerry Vaughn, and a sister, Nancy Vaughn.
Alzo is survived by his sisters Linda Mott of Oklahoma and Patti Liebler of Florida; and nephew, Charles Lamb; and a niece, Patricia Tilson.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., April 25, 2019 at Eastside Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS. There will not be a public visitation as cremation was chosen. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30 th Ave., Hutchinson, KS 67502.
