Reno County Commission to consider Wifco’s request

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County Commission will consider a letter of intent Tuesday to grant tax and job incentives to Ade Enterprises, LLC, for the construction of a new office building. This is for Wifco Steel at 8003 N. Medora Rd. Discussion on this topic was tabled at a previous meeting.

Commissioners will also hear an update from ONEOK for a Northline 7 extension being constructed to transport natural gas liquids from ONEOK’s Hutchinson junction to its Medford, Oklahoma, fractionation facility.

The pipeline includes approximately 92 miles of new 20-inch diameter pipe and will have the capacity to transport up to 250,000 barrels per day of unfractionated natural gas liquids.

The pipeline will cross through Reno, Kingman, Harper and Sumner counties in Kansas and Grant County in Oklahoma.

The Reno County Commission meeting starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Reno County Courthouse.
