HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The United States Geological Survey reported a 4.4 magnitude earthquake in Medford, Oklahoma, around 3:33 p.m. Friday.

The earthquake was felt in Hutchinson. Some residents believed the tremor to be strong winds passing through the area.

Others reported feeling chairs and desks move while some felt entire buildings shake.
