HARVEY COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 9p.m. Monday in Harvey County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Ford Focus driven by Kathy L. Wiley, 60, Wichita, was southbound on Interstate 135 just north of the Sedgwick County line. The driver swerved left to avoid a deer in the road.

The vehicle entered the median going airborne and overturning.

EMS transported Wiley to a hospital in Wichita. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
