HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Police worked a situation Wednesday evening that turned out to be nothing.

A woman who lives in the area of 15th and Main called a cell phone company upset her cell phone had been shutoff.
She said she had a gun and was threatening someone with it. Police came to investigate and learned she was just intoxicated and making threats. She did not have a gun and no one was threatened, according to police Lt. Jason Yingling.
No arrests were made. Yingling said it caused some excitement for neighbors who wanted to know what was going on.
