HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce will hold its first monthly luncheon of the summer schedule from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Main Street Event.

The lunch is sponsored by Allen Samuels. The featured speaker will be Holly Martin, publisher and editor of the High Plains Journal. She will share some of the most notable agricultural stories she has encountered over her years with the publication.

Martin has been with the Journal for over 20 years and was named publisher in 2017 after being the editor for 12 years. She is a past president of the American Agricultural Editor’s Association, a board member of the Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation and AAEA’s Professional Improvement Fund and a graduate of the Kansas Agricultural Rural Leadership program.
