YODER, Kan. — A 64-year-old Hutchinson woman escaped serious injury after she fell asleep behind the wheel while taking the exit ramp from K-96 onto Yoder Road.

Jane Angell then hit a culvert in the west ditch in the 9800 block of South Yoder Road.

She complained of back pain and Haven EMS was called to the scene. Angell was medically cleared by Haven EMS and was picked up by a family member.

This occurred around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
