HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three people arrested on drug distribution charges were back in court Friday morning for the formal reading of charges.

Thirty-five-year-old Bridgett Barrett, 37-year-old Brice Reed and 36-year-old Lorenzo Hester are now charged with distribution of cocaine, conspiracy to distribute drugs and possession of marijuana.
The three allegedly went to Wichita and were at a house there for 15 minutes or so. After they came back to Reno County, they were stopped by law enforcement. A search of their vehicle was performed after a K-9 unit indicated there were drugs present. Officers allegedly found marijuana and crack cocaine during that search, as well as $419 in cash.
All three will be scheduled for another hearing next month with Deputy District Attorney Tom Stanton stating he would probably have one preliminary hearing for all three.
