According to the police report, it started with the two getting into an argument, he apparently took a knife being held by his wife and proceeded to cut her hands. Police say she had multiple cuts on her hands when they arrived.
Edward Kelly also suffered some injuries according to police, with a bite inside and outside his left forearm, and he also allegedly had some lacerations on his back and neck.
He requested a reduction of the bond of 25-thousand dollars while in court Thursday in front of Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen. That was denied.
He’ll be back in court next Wednesday for a status hearing, or whenever the state files formal charges.
