HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department conducted a nighttime seat belt enforcement last night.

Two officers worked four hours each.

Fourteen occupant protection citations were given out. One DUI with illegal transportation of liquor arrest was made.

A few other citations were written as well.

The department expects to have another seat belt enforcement Thursday evening in an effort to get local residents to buckle up.
