GREAT BEND, Kan. – The Nickerson Senior Legion baseball team held the Hutchinson Colts to only two hits on Sunday to eliminate the Colts 6-0.

Pitcher Tre Garcia pitched a jem by only throwing 78 pitches.

Nickerson scored with a four-run fifth inning, then capped it off with a 2 run sixth.

Nickerson went on to win over Salina 6-3 and will match up with host Great Bend who lost to Hays 13-12 on Sunday. That game is at 6pm tonight.
