HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County commissioners will seek approval of the contract with WSP USA Inc. during Tuesday’s agenda session.
If approved, the company will do a feasibility study to see if Buhler Road south of Buhler can be elevated out of the flood plain.
Plans are to possibly look at 82nd Avenue west of Buhler as well. Both roads are flood-prone during even minor events. The cost of the study is $26,709.
The board will also set a public hearing for the budget and set a date for canvassing votes from the Aug. 6 primary election.
Tuesday’s meeting of the Reno County Commission begins at 9 a.m. in the Reno County courthouse.
