RENO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Dawna Joy. Heidebrecht, 50, Wichita, was northbound on K14 and Burr Street in Nickerson.

The driver suffered a medical issue and left the roadway to the right, striking a utility pole.

EMS transported Heidebrecht to the hospital in Hutchinson. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
