Hutch High Salthawk sports return to KWBW

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Eagle Radio Hutchinson is proud to announce that Hutchinson Salthawk sports will be returning to KWBW 1450am/98.5fm for the start of the 2019-20 Hutch High sports season with the first football game Friday, September 6th.  KWBW Radio is a natural fit for Hutch High Sports with it’s News-Talk-Sports format, plus the addition of 98.5fm that covers all of Reno County.  BW is also the home for KC Royal Baseball, KC Chiefs Football, the NJCAA National Basketball Tounament as well HutchCC Football and Basketball including local Sports Talk programing with “Dragon Talk” and the “Reno County Coaches Show and More” on Monday evenings.

KWBW was the first radio station in Hutchinson founded in May of 1935.  In addition to the 1450am and 98.5fm signal, fans can tune in by audio stream anywhere in the world on-line as well as the KWBW Radio app available on their smart phones for free.  KWBW is even on Amazon’s Alexa devices and Tune-In radio apps.  In addition, BW will be available for home games as well as away games with on-site fm at 89.3fm on portable radios.  That signal will only be available within the sports venues themselves, so fire up those old Sony walkmans and transister radios and listen in.

The Eagle Radio Sports on air team will consist of Glen Grunwald doing play-by-play and “Coach Nac” Dan Naccarato will provide the color analysis.  For Football, Hutch High senior Joe Blake will do sideline reports and Hutch High junior Sarah Peterson will be the videophotographer providing the NFHSNetwork.com video stream for both Hutch High and HutchPost.com.  Peterson will also anchor the USD 308 Weekly Activity Report that can be heard at halftime for all the games.
