MAIZE, Kan. – The Maize Eagles took advantage of early salthawk errors and made Hutch think that they were looking in a mirror at last weeks game versus Wichita West.  For the second week in a roll early strips of Hutchinson carries resulted in touchdowns for the competition.  Hutchinson coughed up the football on their first possession  and Maize took the strip in for a touchdown from 25 yards out.  Then then Maize held the Salthawks on Hutchinson’s 2nd possession and forced a 4th down and 9.  Maize returned the put 53 yards for a Touchdown and once again, Hutchinson never was able to mount a threat as Maize went on to win by a 55-14 finals score.

Hutchinson travels to Garden City next week to take on the Buffaloes.
