HUTCHINSON, Kan. — “Dentistry from the Heart” has become an annual event in Hutchinson. Local dentist Dr. Grant Ringler will be providing free dental service for local residents this Saturday.

Dr. Ringler explained why he provides this service.

“There are many in the community that either don’t have dental insurance or can’t afford dental services,” Ringler said. “We are offering this for one day — first come, first served basis — starting at 7 a.m. We start registration then and we’re done with registering people by 3:30 p.m.”

He is offering this service to the community as a way of paying it forward.

He expects a good crowd when they start the service Saturday morning and he asked that those who do show up to please be patient. “Usually in the first hour, we do have people waiting in line, but we do have chairs and a big tent out in the parking lot,” Ringler said. “We’ll keep everyone comfortable and we have a triage that we treat them, just kind of do an evaluation, then move them into the office to take any X-rays we may need to take.”

This free dental service event is at Ringler’s office at 3008 Garden Grove Parkway, just north of the 30th Street Pizza Hut in Hutchinson.
