HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 29-year-old man who entered pleas in three distribution cases will serve more than 11 years in prison.

Kirk Surdi entered pleas to four counts for the sale of methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to sell, four counts of using a cellphone to make the transactions and one count of issuing a worthless check. All of the cases were from November of 2018.

Reno County District Judge Joe McCarville sentenced Surdi to a total of 136 months.

Surdi has prior convictions for indecent liberties, burglary and theft.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 29-year-old man who entered pleas in three distribution cases in Reno County is scheduled for sentencing Wednesday.

Kirk Surdi entered pleas to four counts for the sale of methamphetamine, one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to sell, four counts of using a cellphone to make the transactions and one count of issuing a worthless check.

All of the cases are from November of 2018.

Surdi has prior convictions for indecent liberties, burglary and theft. Sentencing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in front of Reno County District Judge Joe McCarville.
