Fox Theatre in Hutchinson announces the 2012-2013 season line-up

An American music icon, a popular comedy troupe and a New Orleans-based brass band are among the highlights of the new season of arts and entertainment at Hutchinson’s Historic Fox Theatre.

The series, called “Marquee Magic,” features seven performances beginning in October and running through April 2013.

The season kicks off with the timely election year comedy of “The Capitol Steps” on Thursday, October 11 and the exceptional young dance talent of “Tap Kids” on Saturday, November 3. That will be followed with an appearance by Don McLean, one of America’s most enduring singer-songwriters, on Saturday, December 8.

The second part of the season gets under way with the award-winning magic of “Nelson Illusions” on Friday, January 18 and continues with legendary vocal group “The Lettermen” on Saturday, February 16. Canada’s “Good Lovelies” bring their beautiful harmonies and talented musicianship to the Fox stage on Saturday, March 2, and the season closes out with some scintillating New Orleans-style jazz from “The Hot 8 Brass Band” on Friday, April 5.

Season tickets can be ordered in person at the Fox Theatre Box Office from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or by phone toll-free at 877-FOX SHOW.
