CUNNINGHAM, Kan. — A Reno County man was involved in an injury accident in Kingman County that sent one person to the hospital Tuesday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported an SUV driven by 79-year-old Keith House, of Cunningham, was northbound on 170th Avenue and started to move onto the edge of the road due to oncoming traffic,

House drove off the edge of the road, overcorrected into the southbound lane and struck a pickup, before coming to rest in the ditch.

House was transported to the hospital in Kingman. The pickup driver 37-year-old Marlin King, of Abbyville, was not injured.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. two miles north of Cunningham.
