HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Police Department held a swearing-in ceremony for six new employees and officers.

Added to the force was Officer Christien Vandergrift, Officer Ian McIntire, Dispatcher Ellie King, Dispatcher Geraine Haynes, Animal control officer Jarret Gandara, and I.T. Specialist Cody Milligan.

The officers will now head to the training center in Yoder before returning for more field training within the department.
