Many residents enjoyed the warm weather and didn’t even mind waiting in line to get a chance to see a once in a life time event. A good crowd showed up at the Cosmosphere to see the planet Venus pass before the sun.

A number of telescopes were set up in the parking lot and visitors also got a chance to see the rare phenomenon through special glasses.

While the planet only showed up as a small black spot in front of the sun it was a thrill for many to see an event that wont Happen again for another 105 years.
