HUTCHINSON, Kan. — An earthquake shook Hutchinson Wednesday afternoon.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake measured 3.1 magnitude and was located about two miles northwest of South Hutchinson.

The trembler struck around 4:39 p.m. and was similar to some of the stronger ones the area has witnessed recently.
