SALINA – A car-motorcycle accident in Salina sent a 40-year-old Brookville man to a Wichita hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, A GMC truck driven by 49-year-old Jose Teodulfo Acosta-Corrales of Kansas City, Missouri, was eastbound on K-140 and failed to yield to the motorcycle driven by 40-year-old Christopher Scott Hays.

Hays was taken to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita for treatment, while Acosta-Corrales was not injured.

The accident occurring around 11:20 a-m Thursday morning at K-140 at Crawford Street, about 3-miles west of Salina.
