POLICE: Frat member allegedly stole 30-thousand dollars from KSU fraternity

MANHATTAN – Kansas State University’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity has reported approximately 30-thousand dollar theft by a fraternity member to Riley County Police.

Police say the fraternity officer unlawfully used a financial card to purchase miscellaneous items such as gas, clothing and food for over a year. The purchases were between January 1, 2011 and April 30, 2012. The estimated loss is around $30,000.

There is a suspect, but police say no arrests have been made.
