STAFFORD COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just before 7:30 p.m. last night in Stafford County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a pickup driven by 60-year-old David Thompson of Iuka, was southbound on U.S. 281 about a mile north of St. John. His vehicle rear-ended a semi driven by 77-year-old Leon L. Dunn of St. John who had entered the road from a private drive.

EMS transported Thompson to the hospital in Pratt. Dunn was not wearing a seat-belt and was transported to Stafford Hospital.
