Disney’s “Frozen 2” and Tom Hanks are coming to Hutchinson this weekend! Enough said?
Yes, this should be another blockbuster opening weekend from the house that gave us the mouse as the sequel to one of Disney Studios most popular movies of the past few years opens at B&B Theatre in the Hutchinson Mall. If your kids or grandkids, especially girls, saw the original Frozen, they’re going to want to see the second.
Tom Hanks arrives as Mr. Rogers in “A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood”. It’s the second movie tribute to Rogers in recent years and with Hanks playing the peace and harmony loving one time tv host it and it should be a winner.
“Ford vs. Ferrari” opened last weekend and was the top movie. It rates 3.5 stars in my books, although you need to be a race car fan to get really excited about it.
From a production, visual effects, script and acting standpoint it is one of Hollywood’s best of the year although Christian Bale’s
British accent is somewhat hard to follow at times. Matt Damon may have done his best acting job in this movie, which carries over at B&B Theatre.
Other options include the disappointing “Midway”,”Good Liar”, and the latest “Charlie’s Angels”, which was a huge flop opening weekend.
