A 19-year-old Hutchinson man was in court this morning for the formal reading of a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.

Kenneth Thompson, Jr., is alleged to have had pictures of children under the age of 18 in his possession. This coming on January 27, but the investigation into the incident led to his arrest on the charge this week.

Thompson is free on a bond of 2-thousand dollars and his case will now be transferred to a waiver-status docket for July 11.
