Sales tax revenue for Reno County fell from both the previous month and the same month one year ago. According to figures released by County Treasure Clark Miller, the county took in 327-thousand 379-dollars. That’s 48-thousand dollars less than last months May record of more than 375-thousand dollars, and about 7-thousand dollars under the same period last year.
For the year, the county has taken in 2-million 73-thousand dollars.
Sales tax receipts for June reflect the areas purchases for the month of April.
