Reno County rural fire had to battle a number of grass fires along Trails West Road. The calls starting coming into 911 around 10:15, reporting a vehicle emitting sparks was starting fires along the road. The fires stretch of and on for nearly 7 miles. Most of the fires were small and quickly extinguished. 911 says crews have been able to get the upper hand on the remaining fires. Crews were also working a fire near Morgan and Langdon Roads.
