Not good news for those heading downtown for Hutchfest this evening or during the weekend for that matter. City officials say Main Street between 2nd and 3rd in the downtown area will be closed at least until Monday afternoon.

Crews have been working on the crossing for the Burlington-Northern Santa-Fe and say because of the unavailability to get asphalt, they’ll have to keep the crossing closed.

They hope install the asphalt on Monday, July 2, and hopefully have the crossing open late in the afternoon.

So, again Main Street right south of 3rd Street will be closed through the weekend.
