Riley County Police Department officials say they found a 26-year-old male deceased in his apartment Thursday after his parents contacted police concerned with the welfare of their son.

Police say Blake Birnbaum was found dead at 1420 Cambridge Place, Apt. 31.

Police were contacted by Birnbaum’s parents at approximately 7:45 a.m. Thursday. Officials discovered the body sometime later.

RCPD officials say the death is not suspicious and foul play is not suspected. However, the cause of death is unclear. An autopsy has been requested.
