One person was taken to a Wichita hospital after he fell from the tailgate of a pickup.

It happened around 8:45 p-m Friday evening a half-mile east of Worthington Road on 43rd.

According to Reno County Sheriff Officials, a blue 1991 Chevy 1500 driven by 21-year-old Taylor Miller from Hutchinson was eastbound, when 35-year-old Jason McCain from Hutchinson fell from the tailgate where he was riding.

He was taken by Midwest Life Team Helicopter to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita with injuries to his head and neck.
